# Get Current Floor Info

To get the current selected floor info on Mapxus map:

```js
map.renderComplete(function() {
	console.log(map.floor);
});
```

**Returns** [`IFloor`][ifloor] `|` [`ISharedFloor`][isharedfloor]

`map.floor` returns an `IFloor` when the selected indoor level belongs to a normal building floor:

- code
- id
- ordinal

`map.floor` returns an `ISharedFloor` when the selected indoor level is a shared floor:

- id
- name
- ordinal

> **Special Note:** Read `map.floor` after `renderComplete` or after a floor-switching action.
