# Building Selector

The floor controller and building selector are displayed by default at the top-right of the map. To disable the building selector at map initialization:

```js
MapxusAuth.registerWithApiKey("your_appId", "your_secret");
// init maplibre-gl map
const maplibreMap = new maplibregl.Map({
  container: "map",
});
// init mapxus map
const map = new MapxusMap.Map({
  map: maplibreMap,
  buildingId: "elements_hk_dc005f",
  buildingSelectorEnabled: false,
});
```

Upon map render complete, to disable/enable the building selector you may use:

```js
map.buildingSelector.disable();
```

```js
map.buildingSelector.enable();
```

You can choose where to put the building selector, by default it is located at the top-right of the map.

```js
options("top-left", "top-right", "bottom-left", "bottom-right");
```

e.g.

```js
map.buildingSelector.setPosition("top-left");
```
