# Get Current Building Info

To get the current selected building basic info on Mapxus map:

```js
map.renderComplete(function() {
	console.log(map.building ? map.building.properties : null);
});
```

**Returns** `MapGeoJSONFeature`

The building basic information is stored in `map.building.properties`. Common fields include:

- id
- name
- name:en
- name:zh-Hans
- name:zh-Hant
- ref:venue
- type
- building
- label\_center
- default\_displayed\_floor
- level\_ids
- level\_names
- ordinals

> **Special Note:** Read `map.building` after `renderComplete` or after a building-switching action.
